There was a certain quote from this video that I thought was extremely important.

I felt that this quote summed up an important aspect of what was being talked about in the video. At the beginning of the video, Stephen Colbert basically asked if it was better to know or not to know. The statement about the world being accessible in some extent answered that question. It implies that we have no reason not to know about our world. To me, it means that the only ones restricting us from progress are ourselves. The world should be used to our advantage in creating an intelligent and technologically advanced society. In order for that to become true, we need a scientifically minded society. A kind of society that condones the search for more knowledge.
